Our LORD’S Church Teaches and Preaches from the King James Bible. Other Bibles leave out the WORD of GOD or simply change the entire meaning of what GOD has said. Bibles like this often have text that is more current and easier to read, but by doing so, distorts the truth. That is how the devil draws us in.
We are responsible for knowing the WORD of GOD when we are freely able to obtain and read the WORD of GOD. However, some people may find the King James Bible a little challenging to read. This is why the LORD said we should ask HIM for the knowledge and understanding of HIS WORD. The WORD of GOD tells us in James 1:5-7, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of GOD, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the LORD.”
Furthermore, this is why GOD has gifted many of HIS called and chosen children with the understanding of the Bible. Not to say that Preachers, Teachers, Bishops and so forth do not need to study the Bible, they do. Regardless, these are resources we should use for the understanding of the WORD of GOD.
“For the WORD of GOD is quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7) And finally my brothers and sisters, the WORD of GOD is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
