Something To Think About?

     Have you ever wondered if you were doing all that you could do for the Kingdom of GOD?  Are you who you think you are in the sight of GOD?  Are you doing what you should be doing in the WILL of GOD?  Have you ever asked – LORD, help me to be what YOU want me to be? 

     Some of us will even doubt that GOD can use us.  Judges 6, beginning with verse 14, “And the LORD looked upon him (Gideon), and said, go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee. (15) And he (Gideon) said unto HIM, Oh my LORD, wherewith shall I save Israel?  Behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house. (16) And the LORD said unto him (Gideon), surely, I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.”  Judges 8:22, “Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.” 

     Gideon did not believe that GOD could use him.  Gideon did not believe that he could even succeed in the task that GOD had sent him to do.  Gideon did not think that he could be who the LORD wanted him to be.  Because Gideon thought he was the least of all men. 

     Who we see in ourselves is insignificant to THE LORD – For HE can use anyone for HIS PURPOSE. 

     In our might and our mind – we cannot be what THE LORD has for us to be – but with GOD all things are possible, and we can be who GOD wants us to be, and we can accomplish little or great things for The Kingdom of GOD, all for the Glory of GOD.  Just let go and Trust GOD.
