Take Your Hands Off Of It!

     There are some battles and situations in life that we are not meant to fight.  We are not meant to try to make a way out of it.  The LORD is saying to us – “Child, take your hands off it and let ME take care of this.”  This battle is not yours, but MINE, says THE LORD. 

     When we have done all that we can do, we are to stand in THE LORD and take our hands off of it. 

     Some things we deal with in this life are spiritual, and we cannot fight a spiritual battle with worldly things.

     We are told in Ephesians 6, beginning with verse 10, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD and in the power of HIS Might.  (11) Put on the whole armor of GOD that you may be able to stand against the tricks of the devil.  (12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  (13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of GOD that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.  (14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.  (15) And your feet covered with the preparation of the Gospel of peace  (16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  (17) And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the SPIRIT which is the WORD of GOD.”

     GOD grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. 

     GOD grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it is me.

     If GOD tells us to do something, we must do it to get the results HE said we would get. 

     We must take our hands off some things, give them to GOD, and stand in the full armor of GOD.  We cannot win a battle that is meant for GOD to fight.  For the battle is HIS and not ours.
