Something To Think About?

     I often hear people say, ” Can you thank THE LORD in the ‘ bad times’ as well as in the ‘ good times’?”  Can you be thankful in every situation that may come into your life? 

     It is always easy to Thank THE LORD when we are going through “Good Times” but the most difficult is to Praise HIM and be Thankful when we are going through the not-so-good times.  When tears fill our eyes, when our heart is breaking, and when we feel like we just can’t go on. 

     They say it is hard to be upset and sing at the same time.  It has been said that it is hard to be down in the dumps while praising THE LORD.  I have found in my life that when I am Praising THE LORD, my mind is at peace, and the more I praise HIM, the more my troubles leave my thoughts. 

     We were created to Worship THE LORD.  HE is worthy of all of our Praise. 

     No man, woman, or child is perfect, but THE LORD is perfect at all times.  HE is Worthy of our Thankfulness.  HE is a Good GOD.  And HIS Mercy endures forever. 

     Think of that time you thought you were not going to make it through a certain situation in your life, and somehow, someway, THE LORD made a way out.  Think of that time when someone broke your heart, and you truly wanted to just die because the pain was so painful and it appeared unbearable, but here you are today with a mended heart.  Think about that time when you felt all alone, when you felt no one cared for you, and when you might have cried yourself to sleep.  You woke up the next day refreshed.  For weeping may endure for a night, but THE LORD brought you through the night to joy in the morning.  THE LORD comforted you through the night.  It was THE LORD that comforted you through that broken heart.  It was THE LORD that made a way out of no way.  It was THE LORD that held on to you when you no longer loved you enough to hold on or to go on.  It was THE LORD! 

        LORD, We Thank YOU!

     The worst thing that happened to someone yesterday could have been us.  LORD, We Thank YOU!

     No matter what we are dealing with in this life, someone wishes they were us.  LORD, We Thank YOU! 

     Life may not always be good, but THE LORD our GOD and HIS SON JESUS are always Good! 

     If you need a reason to Thank The LORD – HE is GOD!

“O Give thanks to The LORD, for HE is Good, for HIS Mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1)

“Let the redeemed of The LORD say so, whom HE has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.” (Psalm 107:2)  LORD, We Thank YOU!

“Oh, that men would Praise The LORD for HIS Goodness and for HIS Wonderful works to the children of men!” (Psalm 107:31)  LORD, We Thank YOU!

“Give Thanks to The LORD, for HE is Good; HIS Love endures forever.” (1 Chronicles 16:34)  LORD, We Thank YOU!

“Give Thanks in all circumstances, for this is GOD’s Will for you in CHRIST JESUS.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)  LORD, We Thank YOU!  Amen and Amen
