Some might ask, “why is Bible Study important?”  There used to be a time when I did not see a need for Bible study – after all, I did go to Church and the Preacher could explain things to me.  Also, I knew I could read the Bible for myself and get understanding – well sometimes I got understanding.  The truth is that I actually found Bible Study boring.  It was not until I allowed the LORD to truly turn my life around that I began to realize that in order to get closer to our GOD, our SAVIOR and allow the HOLY SPIRIT to work in me, through me and in my life, I needed to study the WORD of GOD to truly know who GOD and our SAVIOR are. I could not always believe the Biblical interpretations of others; and this included the Preacher at times.  I had to read the Bible and study with others to truly learn the Bible.  The more I read the more I learned – the more I learned, the closer to GOD I became.  My brothers and sisters, Bible Study is important – it can actually be a matter of eternal life or eternal death.

Our Motto is:

If the Bible says it, we know that it is so, and if the Bible does not say it we don’t need it.
